Axiom vs Rayo

Comparing Axiom and Rayo for Solana memecoin trading: fees, wallet setup, safety checks, PNL tracking, and which one fits how you actually trade.

What Axiom is and does well

Axiom is a web-based trading terminal for Solana. You connect a wallet or use Axiom's built-in one and trade from a full browser dashboard: token discovery feeds (Pulse, Explore, Similar Tokens), charting, a Portfolio tab with a PNL chart over time, wallet tracking so you can watch other addresses' trades, a Twitter/tweet monitor for new-token chatter, limit orders, and perpetuals trading on Hyperliquid. You can also stake idle SOL to Axiom's own validator for yield. It's built for people who want everything on one screen: research, execution, and monitoring in the same tab, no app switching.

That breadth is Axiom's strength. If you like watching multiple token feeds at once, tracking specific wallets, and placing limit orders instead of only market buys, a full terminal like Axiom gives you room a chat-based bot doesn't.

Axiom's fees

Axiom charges a net trading fee that starts at 0.95% and drops as your volume grows, through a rewards-tier system: 0.95% at the base Wood tier, down to 0.90% (Bronze), 0.875% (Silver), 0.85% (Gold), 0.825% (Platinum), 0.80% (Diamond), and 0.75% at the top Champion tier. Part of what you pay comes back as cashback in SOL, from 0.05% at the base tier up to 0.25% at Champion. In practice: new or occasional traders sit near 0.95% net, and only high-volume traders climb into the 0.75-0.85% range.

What Rayo does differently

Rayo lives inside Telegram: no separate app, no browser tab, just a chat you already have open. It charges a flat 1% fee on every swap, or 0.9% if you came in through an invite link, no volume tiers and no waiting to level up. Every trade routes through Jupiter for pricing, and before you buy, Rayo runs a check on the token: freeze authority, Token-2022 transfer hooks, transfer fees, permanent delegate, and whether there's a real exit route, so you see the risk before you're in, not after. You get an exact quote before every fill, and a PNL view that's net of every fee, exportable as a CSV. Rayo also does copy trading and wallet tracking, runs limit buy, take-profit, stop-loss, and trailing stop right after a buy or from the token card (managed with /orders), holds your funds in your own wallet with an exportable private key, lets you withdraw to any address, and never asks for KYC.

Who should use which

Axiom fits someone who wants a full trading desk: multiple discovery feeds open at once, leveraged perpetuals, and wallet-watching side by side on a screen. It rewards volume, so a very active trader working toward Champion tier can end up paying less than Rayo's flat rate.

Rayo fits someone who wants to trade from Telegram without opening anything else and wants the safety checks run automatically before every buy. If you live in Telegram and want your PNL numbers to already account for every fee without doing the math yourself, that's the gap Rayo is built for.

How to switch or use both

Nothing stops you from running both. Axiom and Rayo don't share a wallet by default, Axiom uses its own embedded wallet or one you connect, Rayo gives you its own wallet with an exportable key, so moving funds between them is a normal withdraw-and-deposit like moving between any two wallets. Some traders keep Axiom open for research and perpetuals while using Rayo in Telegram for fast, checked buys and price-triggered orders on the go. To try Rayo, open the bot and it walks you through wallet setup from the first message.

Frequently asked questions

Is Axiom or Rayo cheaper?

It depends on your volume. Axiom starts at 0.95% and only drops below that as you climb its volume tiers, down to 0.75% at the top Champion tier. Rayo is a flat 1%, or 0.9% if you use an invite link, with no tiers to climb. For most traders who aren't pushing high monthly volume, Rayo's 0.9% invite rate lands below Axiom's base rate.

Does Rayo have the same features as Axiom?

Not all of them. Axiom is a full web terminal with Hyperliquid perpetuals, which Rayo doesn't have. Rayo now matches its limit orders, take-profit, stop-loss, and trailing stop, set right after a buy or from the token card and managed with /orders, alongside wallet tracking, copy trading, and fee-inclusive PNL tracking that Axiom's docs don't describe as automated.

Can I use Axiom and Rayo together?

Yes. They use separate wallets, so you can research and trade perpetuals on Axiom while using Rayo in Telegram for quick, checked buys and your own price-triggered orders, then move funds between the two wallets like you would between any two Solana wallets.

Does Rayo check tokens before I buy, like Axiom?

Rayo runs a safety check before every buy: freeze authority, Token-2022 transfer hooks, transfer fees, permanent delegate, and whether there's a real exit route. Axiom's own documentation doesn't describe an equivalent automated pre-buy check.
